Assistant Machinist Technician

| Responsibilities: | 1. Set up and operate various machine tools, including lathes, drilling and milling machines. 2. Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products. 3. Configure machine settings and tools for specific machining tasks. 4. Inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) 5. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns. 6. Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues that arise during operations. 7. Work closely with engineers and other technicians to optimize machining processes. 8. Assist in training new machinists or apprentices. 9. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. 10. To assist the machinist engineer on the scheduled plan. 11. Adhere to company protocol as laid out in the company policy and procedures. 12. To diligently identify risks and report to HOD. Employee shall comply with all risk treatments. 13. Maintain and responsible for 5¡¯s practices in workplace. 14. Others duties assigned by superior and management from time to time. |
